     Sardar Rattan Singh was enjoying very good reputation in his profession and was enjoying comfortable life, But suddenly prices of iron increased during 2nd world war, that ruined him economically. He had many contracts for the wells and had taken advances for that, but sudden increase in steel prices make his contract unviable for him, but he completed his obligation even after suffering a losses in these. But his sons worked hard and establish a firm Kular Cycle industries which has now 6 firms. They have proved that with a strong will power and Witt one can attain his goals. Dedication and sincerity to work has led them to their place in the Cycle Industry of India and abroad by setting new standards and milestones.

    Kular Cycle Industry, a partnership firm started in 1962 by four partners namely Sardar Ajit Singh, Sardar Pritam Singh, Sardar Darshan Singh and Sardar Mukhtiar Singh. The products made by them were of High quality and were precise, which captured the market. Under the Visionary guidance of Sardar Ajit Singh and with the support of there brothers, the firm soon established there name and goodwill in the market.
    Soon the firm shifted to automation. They hold the credit in India for pioneering the manufacturing of mudguards by using cold rolled strip in 1966. They have been manufacturing Mudguards in different sizes for various vehicles. In 1967, the firm started Cycle Rim Manufacturing Machines and soon successfully began the production of Precise and quality Cycle & Cycle Rickshaw Rims. Their products were supported by overwhelming response from market. To meet the production targets within a time bound framework, they shifted to Focal Point (The Industrial Hub of Ludhiana city), in 1974 for expansion. They also hold the credit to manufacture the Moped Mudguards for the first time in India in year 1970, when the requirement of Moped Mudguards was met by importing
