Smt. and Sardar
Kuldeep Singh Ghatora (popularly known as GREEN) are
very renowned couple of Moga, Punjab.
Sardar Kuldeep Singh was born to Smt. Nihal Kaur on 18th
January,1945. His father Sardar Balwant Singh was an
expert motor mechanic. Right from his childhood, Sardar
Kuldeep Singh was a brilliant student. He stood first in
8th and 10th standard exams. After his schooling he
joined Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1966 at
Jalandhar. After completing his diploma, he started his
own workshop by the name of Kuldeep Industries. In 1970,
he got the credit to develop Automatic Engine
Reconditioning machine first time in India, prior to
that most of the machines were imported. He got married
to Smt. Gian Kaur (Hunjan) of Jagraon in 1970. She
became his strength and supported him in achieving his
goals.

In
1984, the black year, when most of Sikh's migrated to
Punjab from other states, he along with his wife formed
Guru Nanak Dev Welfare Society (Regd.) and started
various rehabilitation programs for the welfare of
migrants Sikhs. |

Besides getting involved in social activities like
welfare of migrants, Sardar Kuldeep Singh also has a
taste in literature. Pursuing his taste he became the
executive member of SAHIT VICHAR MUNCH, Moga. In all his
activities, be it social, intellectual or political, his
wife Smt. Gian Kaur stood by him and proved a true
companion.
In 1985, he formed Ramgarhia welfare Society. Under the
flagship of Ramgarhia welfare society they have
organized state level function and honored many
distinguish Ramgarhia’s for their contribution to the
community. In 1991-92, he became the administrative
member of GURU NANAK COLLEGE, MOGA. Sardar Kuldeep Singh
is a popular figure among the people of Moga. During his
tenure as Municipal Councillor, Moga he worked hard for
the all round development and enlistment of his ward and
earned the respect and support of people. The couple is
blessed with two sons, Sardar Arminder Singh and Sardar
Iqbal Singh. |
