Sardar Khem Singh Lotay

    Sardar Khem Singh Lotay was born on December 21, 1932 to Smt. Bhagwan Kaur Kalsi at Kuhali Kalan District, Ludhiana. His father Sardar Sampuran Singh Lotay did the work of sappy.

    He did his Matriculation from District Board High School Maloud in 1949 days. He was a good scout in his school and had participated in scout-training camp at Tara Devi Shimla. After his matriculation he joined a training camp of Sub-Inspector consolidation at Sirhind.

     After completing his course, he joined Government Job as Sub-Inspector consolidation (Mehkama Muraba Bandi) at village Barasat District Patiala in 1952. By virtue of his hard work and honesty towards his profession he was promoted as Kanoongo in 1959. He had represented District Patiala in Kanoongo Association
of Punjab.

    He has worked as Ahlmad to Deputy Comissioner Patiala in Department of Revenue from 1971-1975 and in 1985 he became the Revenue Kanoongo of Patiala. In 1986, he was promoted as Naib Tehsildar due to his strenuous quality and sincerity to his work. He retired from the post of Naib Tehsildar in 1980 and now he is working as Naib Tehsildar (Contract Basis) in Patiala. He got married to Smt. Bhupinder Kaur Gharyal on July 7, 1952. She is nice and soft-spoken homely lady and extended her full cooperation in his success. The couple is blessed with two daughters and two sons.
