Principal Harnek Singh Kaile was born to Smt.
Parameshwar Kaur and Sardar Bachan Singh on September
5th, 1942 at village Chhapar, district Ludhiana.
His
father was a very good mason whose desire was to provide
quality education to his children so that they can earn
a respectable position in society and make him proud. |

Dr. Kaile had his primary education from his village
school. He passed Matric examination from M.G.M.N High
School, Ahmedgarh in 1958 securing 74% marks and stood
first in the school. He completed F.Sc. (Non-Medical)
and B.A. (Physics, A course) from Govt. College
Chandigarh. He passed M.A. (English) from Govt. College,
Ludhiana in 1965. After that he worked as a teacher in
the same school where he was a topper in matric, M.G.M.N.
High School for one session (1965-66). Then he joined
B.Ed at G.H.G. Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar
Sudhar in 1966. After completing his B.Ed., he joined as
a lecturer at the same institute on 14th August, 1967. |

Dr. Kaile got married to Smt. Harjit Kaur Passi of Barnala on
19th June, 1970. During his service, he passed his M.Ed. from
Himachal Pradesh University in 1979 and M.Phil and Ph.D.
(Education) from Department of Education, Punjab University,
Chandigarh. For Ph.D., he had the privilege to work under the
supervision of a very capable and dedicated teacher Prof
(Miss) Sardar Gakhar. It goes to the credit of Dr. Kaile that
under his supervision three candidates, the first being Mr.
Mohan Lal Jaidka, have obtained Ph.D. (Education) degree from
P.U., Chandigarh.
He has been working as Principal G.H.G. Khalsa College of
Education, Gurusar Sudhar since 22nd May, 1996. During his
student life at college, he started writing poems which were
published in daily newspapers and monthly magazines. Later, he
started writing mini stories and his first mini story 'Afsar'
was published in AJIT Punjabi newspaper published from
Jalandhar, in 1979. His teacher Dr. Balbir Singh "Dil"
motivated him to get his mini stories published in the form of
a book which resulted in his first publication "F.I.R." in
1991. His mini stories were widely acclaimed and he was
awarded a special prize by Mel Milap Sahit Sabha, Glassgow
(U.K.) & Punjab Lekhak Pathak Sangh, Rampura Phul. His other
book "Bharti Sikhya Churahe Te", articles on different aspects
of education was published in 1993. Dr. Kaile's radio talks
are frequently aired at All India Radio, Jalandhar in its
programme "ADHYAPKAN LAYEE ". |

He has been honored by various renowned sabhas and societies
like Prof. Naseer-ud-din Niazi Memorial society, Malerkotla.
He is honorary Advisor of B.K.D. College of Education for
Women, Paonta Sahib. Dr. Kaile is blessed with a son Jasdeep
Singh, M.E. (Mech.) and a daughter Mandeep Kaur B.Sc (Med.),
M.A. (English) B.Ed. |
