Sardar Surinder Singh Jagdey and Smt. Inderjit Kaur Matharoo are well known couple of Ludhiana.
SARDAR HARNEK SINGH Father of Sardar Surinder Singh Jagdey established the firm ‘S.H.D. Industries’ in 1967, with his father Sardar Sarwan Singh and brother Sardar Dharam Singh, which is known for quality oil engine products.

    Sardar Surinder Singh was born to Smt. Sukhwant Kaur on 15th April, 1965. He did his Matriculation from Dashmesh Senior Secondary School in 1979 with first division. After that he joined Arya College for further studies. Then he joined his family business. He is a hard working and conscious about quality. He established another unit by the name of ‘Sahib International’ in 1981.

    He got married to Smt. Inderjit Kaur Matharoo. She did her Matriculation from Guru Nanak High School, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana. She joined Ramgarhia Girls College for further studies. She actively participates in the welfare projects of Lions club. She is a kind hearted and soft spoken lady. Both are active Lions, they participate in all club activities. Sardar Surinder Singh Jagdey had joined lionism as Charter member of Lions Club Ludhiana Pioneer in 1995. Then he became Joint Treasure, Vice President of the club and in 2001-2002 he served the club as President. Under his able presidentship Club has done many social projects. With his hard work and kindness towards poor he is adjudged the best President of the region. The couple is blessed with daughter Harmeet Kaur and son Gurprince.
