He was the editor of English section and General section. Then he joined Dasmesh Senior Secondary School as headmaster. Now He serving Dashmesh Senior Secondary School as Principal. His hard work and sincerity bore fruits. He was given the responsibility of Principal. Under his principal ship school had fetched good results. Ninety five percent or above students figure in merit list. School Badminton team and fencing team won championship at District level and participate in stat level competitions. Bhangra and Giddha mostly get first prize or second position at state level functions, school band presents a good show in the Nagar Kirtan. Another feather in his cap is that he is author of text books viz. History books and English Grammar books for +1 and +2. He got “Best Teacher Award” at a function organized in 1980 in the campus of Khalsa college for women, Ludhiana presided over by Sardar Gurcharan Singh Tohra, the then S.G.P.C President. He had got 'State Award' as best teacher in 2000 at a state level function, presided over by Sardar Sewa Singh Sekhawa, Cabinet Minister Punjab . He received 'Sardar Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Award' in 2001 at Vishvkarma day celebration presided over By Sardar H. S. Hanspal.He is a very efficient stage secretary too. He is patron of Art & Culture society of Ludhiana. He is educational advisor of Guru Nanak Model School & Ramgarhia Senior Secondary School and a member of Ramgarhia educational council.
    He is secretary of Mohalla Sudhar Committee. He is secretary of coordination committee of three mohallas (Arjan Nagar,Chet Singh Nagar & Dasmesh Nagar).

    He got married to Smt. Rajinder Kaur Panesar of lucknow. She is a housewife and kind lady by nature . The couple is blessed with three girls and a son.
