Chand Dhiman is a proud father of Sardar Surjit Singh (SHUNGAR)
Dhiman the newly elected M.L.A (Independent) of Dirhba.
Shri Ram Chand Dhiman was born in April 1932 at Dirhba
to Smt. Ganga Devi Jandu wife of Sh. Meera Ditta Dhiman.
Sh. Ram Chand Dhiman belonged to a poor family and for
his living he worked as mason. He got married to Smt.
Surjit Kaur Nanrey of Banera Kalan Nabha, Distt Patiala
in August 1952. The couple is blessed with three sons
and a daughter. |

His elder son Sardar Harbans Singh was born on 19th
April,1955 at Dirhba. In 1974, he completed his
matriculation and got a job in Co-Operative Bank. He
worked there for 16 years. Now he has started helping
his brothers at Vishvakarma Agro Industries. He got
married to Smt. Savinder Kaur Dhillon of Amritsar on 10
July,1974. The couple is blessed with two sons and a
daughter. |

Second son Sardar Surjit Singh Dhiman born in Feb 1958,is
lucky for family. He had his education from Dirhba. He is a
very social and hard working gentleman. He started his carrier
as a mason. He was always keen to rise in the life. In 1978 he
set up a saw mill. From this point of time graph of the family
started to go upwards.
In 1991 they started to manufacture Agricultural implements
like straw reaper, seed drill trolley and cultivator etc. His
hard work and blessings of God help him to serve the poor and
needy. He has donated an ambulance to Red Cross and a truck
for religious and social services. With his efforts a girl's
College is started at Dirhba. He has donated uniforms books,
fans and many more essential articles to the schools.
He has given the slogan " LOK SEWA MERA DHARAM HAI LOK SEWA
MERA KARAM HAI". His sincerity and honesty got him elected as
the MLA of Dirhba. He got married to Smt. Balbir Kaur Panesar
on 22nd june,1981. The couple is blessed with two sons and a
daughter. |

Younger son Sardar Amarjit Singh was born on 5th
September,1962. He had his education from Dirhba. He did all
type of work. Now he is helping his brother at Vishvakarma
Agro Industries. He got married to Smt. Surinder Kaur Deosi on
7th March, 1982. |

Sardar Surjit Singh Dhiman gives message through Ramgarhiakom
that there must be a platform for all Ramgarhia's where we
must unite. Ramgarhiakom suggests that as we have two
Ramgarhias in the Punjab assembly, Sardar Surjit Singh Dhiman
and Sardar Malkit Singh Birmi,we can divide Punjab in two
zones, one zone with each MLA. This will make our efforts more
fruitful. Sardar Surjit Singh Dhiman has accepted our
suggestion and is going to start work on this track.
Ramgarhiakom hopes a lot from this young MLA of Dirhba. May
god bless him with long life. |
