Sardar Inderjit Singh Jagdey

    Happiest moment came in the life of Sardar Inderjit Singh Jagdey, when he won the Election of Municipal Councillor as an independent candidate in 1992. Then he got the platform where he can serve the community and People.

     Sardar Inderjit Singh Jagdey was born in Rookie (Haridwar) on 7th April,1957. His Father Sardar Sardara Singh, known as Fauji, after serving the Indian Army established his business under the name of 'Fauji Tent house'. His mother Smt. Ishar Kaur Daheley was a very pious lady.

     Sardar Inderjit Singh did his Matriculation from Government School Jagraon in 1972. He is an active Lion. He is member of Lions Club Jagraon Midtown. He has served the Lionism as President of the club, Zone Membership advisor, Zone Chairman. He was declared best President of the region.

    In his tenure he contributed a lot in constructing Lions Bhawan at Jagraon. He organized blood donation camp which was duly appreciated in lionism. Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana also honored him for the camp. He contested Municipal Elections independently in 1992 and was elected Municipal Councillor Jagraon. He had served the Municipal Committee as senior vice president also. Lot of development took place under his vice president ship.
    As a result, he earned a good name. He also worked as president of Backward Class Federation. He is Member of many Sabha Societies and is founder member of Ramgarhia Welfare Council Jagraon. Under the Flagship they organized free medical camp and distributed free books to poor students on Baisakhi day. He gives the credit of his success to his family and friends. He got married to Smt. Harpreet Kaur Matharoo of Village Ramuwala Kaplan (Moga) on 25th April,1976. The couple is blessed with three daughters and a son. He had given the massage to Ramgarhiakom that we are in good number and strength and if we unite then we can rule.
