Ex Municipal Councillor Sardar Harcharan Singh Dadyal (Gohalwaria) and newly elected Municipal Councillor Smt. Pushwant Kaur Atli is the couple of Ludhiana.

   Who are working hard to uplift Ramgarhia's. Sardar Harcharan Singh, which is popularly known by the name of his village Gohalwaria, has served the people of his ward as Municipal councillor from 1997 to 2002 and now his wife Smt. Pushwant Kaur will listen the public grievances from 2002 onwards.

     Sardar Harcharan Singh was born to Smt. Amarjit Kaur Nagi on 13th June,1956 at Tehsil Taran Taran, District Amritsar. His father Sardar Gian Singh was Government Contractor in Assam, but he left all his property for his brother and started his new life at Ludhiana. Family had seen the hard days, but hard work and complete faith in God has given courage to family to rise in life. His elder brother Sardar Jagdev Singh Gohalwaria has served the people as Municipal Councillor from 1991 to 1997, then Sardar Harcharan Singh from 1997 to 2002 and now Smt. Pushwant Kaur from 2002 onward.

    Sardar Harcharan Singh had his education from Arya College, Ludhiana. Then he worked as helper, clerk, deputy manager and manager in factories. Then he started his own unit under the name of Anu Rubber Industries in 1985. He is looking after the factory as well as the people of his area. Smt. Pushwant Kaur also looks after Guru Nanak Rubber Products.

    Sardar Harcharan Singh is a member of so many Sabha and Societies. He is an Executive member of United Cycle and Part Manufacturing Association. Social Welfare Department of Punjab honored him for his services. He was elected member of House Tax Advisory committee of the city. They were tied in nuptial knot on 20th February, 1983. The couple is blessed with two sons and two daughters.
