Sardar Ajit Singh Ranauta, an Automobile Engineer from
Auto-Jersey College, Hersay (UK), is not only Grand
Master in Freemasonry (Internationally known social
organization), but also Grand Master of Ramgarhias. He
is an offspring of the famous Ranauta Family of Kenya, a
family of Timber Merchants of great repute. Sardar Ajit
Singh Ranauta was born on 21st February,1949 at Eldorete,
Kenya to Smt. Nand Kaur Ghatoura. His father Sardar
Dasondha Singh was renowned Ramgarhia of Kenya. |

Sardar Ajit Singh Ranauta completed his “O” Level
Education from Cambridge University in 1966. Then he did
his Mechanical Engineering from Anglo-Jersey College.
Thereafter he established Broadway Auto Engineer at
Eldorate.
He married in India to Smt. Kulwant Kaur Khural of
Dharorh (Ludhiana) on 21st February,1971 and settled in
Chandigarh. He became socially active in society. He was
an active member of Lions Club International. He has
served his club as its, President, Secretary, Treasurer,
and in the Lion District as Zone Chairman and Deputy
District Governor. He has sponsored and organized many
health and eye checkup camp and made significant
donation and contribution to various social benefit
schemes for the poor and handicap. |

He was a member of hockey and football teams of the school,
now a good golfer and member of Chandigarh Golf Club. He is
active in the Ramgarhia Sabha Chandigarh and is member of its
Executive Committee. Ramgarhia Bhawan at Chandigarh is
constructed with his efforts. He has served the Ramgarhia
Sabha as President also. He is President of Maharaja Jassa
Singh Ramgarhia Public School. He is widely traveled
personality with extra ordinary qualities of administration,
dedication and devotion. He is soft-spoken, warm hearted,
unassuming and humble. The couple is blessed with three sons
and a daughter. |

Elder son Sardar Harbinder Singh Ranauta was born on 15th
February,1972 at Chandigarh. He did his B.Com. from DAV
College Chandigarh in 1992. He is a member of Indian Roller
Skating Hockey team. He had played world cup and his team
stood third in china in 1989. He is married to Smt. Gurpreet
Kaur Padhaley (Basant) of Ludhiana on 11th December,1995. The
couple is blessed with two daughters. He looks after Ranauta
Industries. |

Second son Sardar Hardev Singh was born on 24th June,1974. He
did his B.Com from DAV College Chandigarh in 1994. He also
played as a member of Roller Skating Hockey Team of India
1995. He also helps his brother in Ranauta Industries as well
as in organizing tour under the name of Broadway Tours and
Travels. He was married to Smt. Harleen Kaur Nandra of
Jalandhar on 27th November, 1996. |

Younger son Sardar Jasraj Singh was born on 6th January,1978.
He did his B.Com from DAV College Chandigarh. He does business
of steel furniture by the name of Ranauta Engineers. He is
married to Smt. Amarpreet Kaur of Jalandhar. |
